Rose garden

Explanation

Positioned a few standard Rosa Alexander ‘Harlex’ at the centre of the bedding area. These were positioned here because they are tall so people can easily see them, even though they are behind the Rosa Iceberg ‘Korbin’ bush roses.

Positioned Rosa Iceberg ‘Korbin’ in between the Rosa Alexander ‘Harlex’ standard roses and the Rosa ‘Arthur Bell’ roses for a number of reasons. The white colour of the Rosa Iceberg ‘Korbin’ roses helps all the foliage in the bedding area to stand out. In addition it helps the more colourful roses in the bed to stand out. These roses are a little higher than the Rosa ‘Arthur Bell’ roses so they can easily be seen even though they are located behind them.

Positioned the Rosa ‘Arthur Bell’ roses at the front of the bedding area because they are small roses with glossy bright green foliage that stands out well when positioned against a white background.

Put the same display of flowers in the other circular bedding area to create some symmetry. Creating symmetry helps us to create a formal look.
